Butler’s Davey Risk Management and Insurance (RMI) curriculum empowers students with the skills to confidently navigate the complexities of risk management. Our distinguished faculty members embrace a comprehensive perspective of the insurance industry, fostering strategic partnerships with professional societies and associations. These connections offer invaluable opportunities for conference participation, scholarships, and internships.

As a student in our program, you’ll gain hands-on experience through two mandatory internships and the unique opportunity to operate the nation’s first student-run captive insurance company. Armed with this real-world expertise, Butler RMI graduates are well-equipped to step into an industry hungry for fresh talent, providing them with the ideal launchpad to carve their path to success.
