MajorBachelor of ArtsEducation Licensure

Bring creativity to the classroom.

Butler’s Art Education program combines coursework from Jordan College of the Arts and the College of Education to teach art across grade levels. With studio offerings in painting, drawing, photography, graphic design, and more, you’ll also be immersed in classes on the theories and best practices for educators. You’ll be equipped to introduce students to the aesthetic, social, and historical power of the arts.

By the end of the program, you’ll have everything you need to earn your initial teaching licensure in the state of Indiana, as well as a rich portfolio of your own work to set you up for success post graduation.
