Led by native speakers, Butler’s Chinese program supports interdisciplinary study with other departments, including International Studies, History and Anthropology, Communication, Business, Pharmacy, and more. This program affords you every degree of immersion necessary to increase linguistic and cultural fluency, preparing you for today’s globalized marketplace and continued language studies post-graduation.
Butler’s Software Engineering major blends academic coursework with research, internship, and service opportunities to prepare students for graduate school and the working world. The Software Engineering major offers access to the Big Dawg supercomputer, networking lunches and programming contests, and the unique opportunity to create software for nonprofit organizations through participation in our Engineering Projects in Community Service (EPICS) program.
