Combining coursework in business, journalism, communication, and non-profit management with training in Butler’s prestigious Department of Dance, students studying Dance Arts Administration will receive conservatory-level instruction from a faculty of highly respected artists and teachers. In addition to top-notch dance training, you will also complete at least one internship, preparing you for a career in performance or leadership in the arts.

One of the oldest and most comprehensive undergraduate programs in the nation, Butler’s Arts Administration program combines in-depth study of a chosen art form along with classes in business, non-profit management, and communication to prepare graduates for the many varied opportunities in a career advocating for the arts. You can choose from concentrations in Art, Art History, General, Music, or Theatre. You will also complete at least one required internship in addition to volunteer experience in the arts world.
