Film Studies

Minor

A critical understanding of the art and experience of cinema.

The Film Studies minor is designed to provide students with an introduction to the medium from a theoretical perspective. Courses will include a mixture of film history as well as critical analysis of both fiction and non-fiction forms. This is an interdisciplinary and collaborative program that includes coursework from across the University in communication, English, history, and creative media and entertainment, among others.
