The Geography and Urban Planning minor complements most majors in the social and physical sciences, arts and humanities, secondary education, technical and business disciplines, and international and environmental studies. The minor is flexible for tailoring your interests in specialized topics of urban planning and design, sustainability and environment, local and global development, or historical/urban/cultural geography. The minor further prepares students for graduate studies in nationally acclaimed programs in the related fields of geography, urban and sustainable planning, and environmental studies.
