Where Dreams Take Center Stage.

The BFA in Acting offered by Butler University’s Department of Theatre is designed for dedicated undergraduate students passionate about honing their acting skills. This comprehensive program combines rigorous actor training with hands-on production experiences across all facets of theatre to ensure a well-rounded education for aspiring actors.

As a student in this program, you’ll immerse yourself in a curriculum encompassing acting, vocal techniques, stage movement, design and technology, history, directing, and much more. And you’ll have the opportunity to showcase your talents in a diverse array of genres, including contemporary, classical, musical, international, children’s theatre, and devised works, in venues as intimate as our 100-seat studio theater to as grand as our grand 2,200-seat venue.
