In addition to fostering a seamless integration of creative expression and design principles, Butler’s Art + Design major emphasizes adaptability, equipping you with the skills necessary for success in a dynamic professional environment. The curriculum goes beyond traditional boundaries, encompassing a diverse range of visual art forms and contemporary design methodologies.

From the outset, you’ll embark on hands-on portfolio development, with opportunities for creative expression and experimentation beginning your first year. Additionally, you are encouraged to complement your studies with a second major or minor, further enriching your academic journey and broadening your skill set.
