As a Theatre major, you will learn from a broad study of theatre, meant to diversity your skills as well as provide an in-depth study of specialized interests. You can expect to work on productions of all sorts, including Shakespeare, devised work, new plays, musicals, comedy, and more. You’ll perform in a variety of spaces including the 2,200-seat Clowes Memorial Hall to the 450-seat Schrott Center for the Arts to the flexible 100-seat Lilly Hall Studio Theatre. You can also choose an emphasis in acting, costume design, directing, music theatre, set and lighting design, or stage management, setting you up for success for life as a working artist.
