Butler’s Strategic Communication: Public Relations and Advertising major stands at the forefront of innovative education. As one of the first programs in the nation to blur the traditional boundaries between these fields, our courses are designed to cultivate robust research and analysis skills.

Curriculum

Students complete the program with the essential balance of theoretical and practical knowledge and skills to create and deliver messages targeted to a wide array of audiences: media, employees, customers, legislators, investors, and the community. Sample courses in this program include:

Three-Year Program

Public Relations and Advertising: The Strategic Communication: Public Relations and Advertising major can be completed in a total of three years, which includes completing coursework during both summer terms. More information can be found here.
