From the outset, you’ll embark on hands-on portfolio development, with opportunities for creative expression and experimentation beginning your first year. Additionally, you are encouraged to complement your studies with a second major or minor, further enriching your academic journey and broadening your skill set.

Study Abroad with the Art Program

Butler encourages students to study in international settings as part of their academic experience. Art+Design majors may choose to study for a semester, a full year, or over the summer.
